My skills
This is my first and also my best JavaScript project. I made this in my first year. It's a 2D game made completely out of JavaScript It's a copy of the old game Age of War. Even though it was my first time with JavaScript I enjoyed every bit of it and learned it insanely fast. It's been my favorite project since the start of my study, and I've gotten a lot of compliments for how far I went beyond the requirements needed to complete this project.
This is my first project of the second year, an e-learning application where users can practice translating words between Dutch and English in both directions. It was a solo project, so I was responsible for the full development process. During this project, I worked with JavaScript Fetch and Async for the first time, which made it quite challenging but also very educational. In the end, I learned a lot from the experience, and I’m proud of how the application turned out, both in functionality and design.
Food Delivery Express is a group project we just finished making. It's a big pizza ordering site made with Fetch API and PHP. I made this project together with my group in the last period of our first year. I mainly focused on the front-end part of the project, where I learned a lot about using Fetch API to get data from a database and displaying it on a website. I also learned how to use PHP to connect to a database and retrieve data. This was my first experience with PHP and it was quite challenging, but I enjoyed it a lot. The project was finished on time and we received good feedback from our teachers.
